9 tips to become good Alchemist

Hello guys,
I recently came back to WLO, and i had question from a player about being good alchemist. So i wanted to share few basic tips about being good alchemist.
1. You need to have at least 3 different chars for 3 different levels of alchemy. 1 char for primary alchemy, 1 char for junior alchemy and at least 1 char for superior alchemy. This is important because some of the reaction gives better success in certain alchemy. For example you can make steel thorn bracers in primary alchemy a lot better than junior or superior. You can make black jade compounds like jade helmet and jade neclace a lot better in junior, and for high level compounds you need to have superior.
2. In primary and junior you can have first compound material lover level, but in superior, highest level must be the first ingredient. If some of other ingredient is higher level, you have to put the same material in end and begining of the reaction. Like when you make rainy doll with black jade
metal gown + black jade + metal gown = rainy doll
3. Some reaction give better succes in lover level of the alchemy - like is easier to make jade helmet in level 3 superior than in level 13 superior.
4. In order to make +7 reactions is better to have superior in level 8+.
5. If you want to fail less, you have to make only high rank compounds. Like in your chars with superior alchemy you should never compound tomato juice or crap level compounds. You should only make high rank compounds - like eqs higher level than 40. For making tomato juices or anything which is lower level use another char with primary skill.
6. Have 2nd char with superior for back up. That means that you should stop compounding when your char start to fail a lot. And start compounding on another char. And go back to this char in few days. Thats how i save money (from fail reactions).
7. Be smart - do not use the hard way, or the way with expensive eq to compound something. Try to find best and easiest way to do it. In this order is better to compound eq from +6 reaction, rather than +2 or +3, because you will use less money.
8. Create your own reactions - you dont have to follow the reactions that you see in forums and wlodb. You can  create your own reaction in same basis. Just  see the material, and find the ranks you need and compound.

How to compound Green mantle

Green mantle is lvl 64 (rank 32) Nylon/leaf.

Gives Mat + 18 and spd +14

For nylon can be used:

- Dark clohtes (rank 26)

- Fly clohtes (rank 27)

- Light Gown(rank 27)

- Demon suit(rank 26)

- Genan suit (rank 27)

They all have same formula

and it is

Ninja suit (2) / iga suit + metal gown

ninja suit 2 / iga suit = thorn suit + heart bracer/ magic glove (rank 20)

Or other way shorter for making rank 26-27 nylon is

Thorn suit + heart bracer / magic gloves (rank20) + book4

And cheapest leaf is

Hero shoes = sky boots / lead headscarf + blue boots + magic feather hat + book 3

Sky boots = fine leaf + refined gold

blue boots = water boots + skeleton iron sword

water boots = fine grass + fine leaf + demon gloves

skeleton iron sword = iron net boots + wolf tooth + iron net boots

magic feather hat = fine hide + anything rank 18 (demon gloves i recomend)

the other alternative way is to use

purple star hat + suntle clohtes but it wil lcost more i gues but you can try ^^

How to make Swift Dragon suit

Swift dragon suit is another version 6 equip. Which will be prefered by many of kung fu lovers. Because it is very cute :)


And here how to make it..

Swift Dragon Suit




Swift dragon suit (35 Feather/leather/ nylon) = Purity gloves (31 feather) + Downy armor (31 leather)+
War demon armor(31 nylon) + book3

1) Purity gloves = Thief gloves + Concealment clothes + book3

Thief gloves = Fine feather + Demon gloves + book4 (+7 reaction)
Or if you don't want to risk

Thief gloves = wind demon suit + high boots
wind demon suit = fine feather + fine nylon
high boots = demon gloves + fine golden rose + fine grass
(can use Unicorn boots too)


Concealmet clothes /White lord crest= Demon gloves + fine grass + book4 (+7 again)
Or if you don't want to risk
Concealmet clothes/ While lord crest = Steel thorn bracer + blue boots + book2
Also if you got fire aurora bracer - they are rank 25 leather too.

Steel thorn bracer = demon gloves + copper crest + sea armor
Blue boots = Water boots + skeleton iron sword (this is the only 100% reaction for blue boots)
Water boots = fine grass + fine leaf + demon gloves (this one is 100% too any alchemy)

2) Downy armor = Concealmet clothes/ white lord crest / fire aurora bracer + black jade + book3

(see reaction for cencealmet in purity gloves part )

3) War demon armor = Gennan suit + Rainy doll + Poison knife/ invisible knife

Gennan suit -
Gennan suit/Fly clothes or anything nylon rank 26/27 = Thorn suit + heart bracer/magic glove + book4

thorn suit = fine nylon + fine log
magic glove/ heart bracer = fine golden rose + magic crystal powder

And if you use rank 26 nylon must be careful not to put poison knife as last material ( in superior), because its higher rank material and will become base material.

Rainy Doll = Metal gown + black jade + metal gown (100% in junior)

Metal gown = Golden qi pao/ wizard gloves/ giant demon gloves + skeleton steel sword

Golden qi pao = fine golden rose + refined gold

wizard gloves/ giant demon gloves = fine golden rose + magic crystal powder

Skeleton Steel sword = iron net boots + wolf tooth + iron net boots


Invisible/ Poison knife = Skeleton steel sword + vertical wing + book2/3 (2 for invisible, 3 for poison)
if you are lucky you can make invisible knife without books (with many tries).
Skeleton steel sword = sea armor + wolf tooth + sea armor


Actually here no need to waste poison knife - invisible is enough when you put book 3 on final reaction.

How to make Purple demon suit

Purple demon suit

Purple demon suit is new item in version 6 and it gives 33 matk.
And it is very pretty. :)))))\

Purple demon suit (rank 33 Fur) =
Purple headband (27 Fur) + Evening wear (27 magic) + Gennan suit (27 nylon)

For nylon can use all other rank 26/27 nylons.

1) Purple Headband = Magic Feather hat + High boots/ Unicorn boots+ book3

Magic feather hat = fine hide + demon gloves

High boots = demon gloves + fine golden rose + fine grass
or
Unicorn boots = demon gloves + fine grass


2) Evening wear can compound from materials from instances.

Evening wear = Fire sword + Bronze ring
If you don't have these materials can compound it this way:
Evening wear = demon jade stone + vertical wing + book3
(if you cant find demon jade stone you can use silk bracers)


3) Gennan suit/Fly clothes or anything nylon rank 26/27 = Thorn suit + heart bracer/magic glove + book4

thorn suit = fine nylon + fine log
magic glove/ heart bracer = fine golden rose + magic crystal powder

Compounding Bass Beast Helmet

Another def helmet in new version is Brass beast helmet - level 70 which gives 35 def.
In new version there is many reactions with hard tissue ( which was not that popular base material in previous versions).
All the reaction i am using are in superior alchemy.

Brass Beast Helmet = Bronze ring (insatance)(rank 30 Bronze) + Eagle cuff (rank 29 iron) + Masked suit (rank 30 hard tissue) + book3

Eagle cuff = warrior boots/warrior clothes/ warrior sword + black jade (+book1 if you don't want to risk)

This is the cheapest way in Cancer to compound it.
Also other way i am using is with water aurora hat.

Masked suit = Icy dragon claw (rank 24 hard tissue) + Steel cuff (iron rank 24)+ thorn pestle (long knight boots, steel helmet) (rank 24 steel) + book 3 (book 4)

Icy dragon claw = wolf tooth + skeleton steel sword + wolf tooth Steel cuffs = Silvery armor + heart bracers/ magic gloves (rank20) + book1

Silvery armor = iron net boots + demon gloves + iron net boots

Thorn pestle = Skeleton steel sword + vertical wing
or
Long knight boots = skeleton steel sword + skeleton steel sword

Makin Sunglow Helmet

Sunglow helmet is one of the new items in version 6. I think you will bei ntereted in it because it gives 30 def (level 60). So i made a little guide for compounding it.

Sunglow Helmet = Dark Green boots(rank 27 aluminium) + Poison Knife(rank 27 Steel) + book 2

Dark Green boots = White gloves + Skeleton steel knife + book 3 (book 4)
White gloves = Cloud helmet + Wolf tooth (Primary alchemy)
Cloud helmet = Aiship steer + sea armor + Airship steer
Poison Knife = Skeleton steel sword + Vertical wing + book3
Skeleton Steel sword = Sea armor + Wolf tooth + Sea armor

Making Shining Staff

Lately for mages the most popular weapon is the shining staff. It looks really nice and it has big matk .. so we all prefer it right?
And here is how we make it...
Shining staff = demon wand + golden helmet + red jade neclace + demon wand + alchemy book 4

Demon wand = refined silver + fine crystal + magic powder
Golden helmet = refined gold + skeleton iron sword + fire crystal + refined gold

skeleton iron sowrd = iron net boots + wolf tooth + iron net boots

red jade neclace = black jade + black jade


And u have to use superior alchemy for all of the reactions. And if u trust your luck can use alchemy book 3 instead of alchemy book 4. Good luck!

Goblin Halberd

The hardest things to compound for me was steel thorn bracers, goblin halberd and grass hat.
When we compound different ranks the reactions are failing more. And also when you compound lower rank with higher rank better to use primary alchemy. Thats how i finnaly made the goblin halberd.
Silvery armour + vertical ving.
Silvery armour = skeleton iron sword + demon gloves
skeleton iron sword = iron net boots + wolf tooth + iron net boots

and since i got it luckily from my first try i used 1800g for it instead of giving minimum 15k.

Compounding War boots

War boots are my favourite Shoes with stats def + 22 atk + 9.
Here i want to share how i compound them. And it was my first High level Equip compound. I made it on lvl 1 superior alchemy and i failed only on few of teh reactions so i didnt waste a lot of money for it.

War boots = golden hatchet (1)+ rip steel sword(2) + jade helmet(3) + book 3

1. Golden Hatchet = Sky crown + steel bracers ( i recomend u to put book 1 on the end because the reaction is +3)

Sky crown = Golden helmet + water boots ( this reaction also + 3 and failinf few times)

Golden helmet = Refined gold + skeleton irton sword + fine crystal + refined gold
Water boots = fine grass+fine leaf+ demon gloves

Steel bracers = skeleton steel sword + moon knife ( or arabia knife or skeleton iron sword)

2. Rip steel sword = Steel bracers + Goblin halberd + book 1 ( i recomend)
Im not good on making goblin halberd so i wont write the reactions i will buy it (A)

3. Jade helmet = titanium sword + black jade + titanium sword
or Titanium sword + emerald neclace
But reaction with same material in the begining and end are more acurate :)


This is all wish u good luck on making it.
Also few tips. When u fail some of the raction many tiems can buy it.
For example in cancer server Goblin halberd cost 15-18k, steel bracers are 25k, jade helmet 10-25k, golden hatchet cost from 70k to 100k.

Also its very cute with blue kung fu :)

Making Blue Dragon gown

Did u know that making blue dragon gown is almost the same like making red dragon gown?
The only difference is the places of the components.
First u need to put the grass/flower rank 28 first and then the gold rank 28 and then the flower rank 28 and the alchemy book 3.
This time i used Plum clothes, wich i made very easy, golden iron boots and white loops again wich i failed making so many times and in the end i bought them for 100k.
Can also make it with king gown, white net boots and culun cuffs...

Sea Salt

You need a bit sea salt for making ammonia for crystal furnance and for the Air conditioner. You can make it on your instruments. But you will need a lots of seawaters and time for it. You can also fish it very often while youre sittingo n Starters beach.
But fatest was is compounding. But you need character wich doesnt have Alchemy skill.
Because Char with alchemy when compound organic muck + organic muck gets common stone. But when you haven't Alchemy skill you have 30% chance to make sea salt.

Making Fish Urn, fish feed and increasing your fishes

New version furniture is really cute. First my sis konno made her urn so i wanted to make myself one too. I was calling it fish thing because i forgot what its called.

Its easy.

Fish Urn (grinding equipment 24 min)
glass x 8 (8 quartz)
sealed potion x 4
lamp x 4
sea water x 10
red coral x 2 (red coral is rank 5 and its same class like crab shale, shale, tentacles, chameleon tongue... so if yo ucompound those things you may get it. or try to fish it.. it will take lots of time )


Sealed potion x 4 (manual blender 24 min total)
2 x naphta
2 x original rubber
4 x firewood

lamp x 4
4 x glass (4 quartz + few firewood)
8 x filament (4x pine)

there you can collect your pines in welling village Tars home i think.. ot some other guys home. Or in village leader home of Holy village. Or you can compud it from vine or turpentine.

12 x wire (12 iron ore + 12 firewood)



os thats all..
and then when you need to increase your fishes you need to feed them.
You can make fish feed on assembly basin. from 1 red coral and 2 seaflower bones. You already know how to make the red coral. Seaflower bone is class of bones like claws, bee spines, dino tooths, wold tooths and dragon tooths and its rank 1. So you can get it recycling those higher rank items...

Then you must feed only your first 2 fishes to get fish gold. And colecting fish gold you can buy yourself other fishes...

Fruit Growing and Making syrups

Kiss and SeaEagle asked me about fruit growing and making syrups. I am going to make a litle guide and i hope you will like it.
You need to have turf, fence, parterre, french window, closet and manual blender. Better if you make mill too.


The instrument wich is growing fruits is turf. However turf alone can produse only 10 fruits for 12 minutes without the other things aroung it. You need to put parterre fence and french window close enough to the turf and you will se that the production increase to 40.
To produce each type of syrups you need 5 seeds of it and 1 organic muck. You can make your own organic muck sitting on your closet for a while. And better if you sit on it all the time making syrups because you can use them for compouding. For example if you dont know where to find mango seeds you can compound normal seeds with organic muck and you will get other kind of seeds. You can also make your roses for parterre compouding rank 1 flower with organic muck or cotton + organic muck.



And when you get your fruits you have to make them into syrups in manual blender.

Grape syrup is + 400 sp
Mango syrup + 400 hp
Apple syrups +350 hp and +100 sp
Cantaloupe syrup + 100 hp and + 300 sp

Compounding Fruit Juices

Last night i talked with Sios on MSN and he said that he will log in in weekend because he miss WL. So i wanted to make him at least lvl 26 till he come, because i want to put him some better clotes than that Clue Coat.
So i take my both alts - shaziye and Sios to Beetle den for afk trainign while I'm sleeping.
So almost everyone know that when you compound some kind of fruit you get other kind of fruit or fruit juice.
So in the morning when i had more than 25 stacks of Watermelon, Apple, Muskmelon i compounded them with each other (50x50) and got :

50 x Mango juice (hp + 200)
50 x Orange juice (hp + 150)
100 x Lemonade (sp + 300)
50 x Strawberry juice (hp + 100)
50x Gooseberry Juice (sp + 150)
50 x Lemon ( use it for manufacture - making colour skin)

And in the end i had 1 stack of fruit only so i compound it with Beast bone (rank 6), wich i got from exilia's training in South Pole, and got Lemonade again.
So next time i wont waste my fruits compounding them with each other, i will compound them with bones.
